The right drying method
Choosing the most suitable building material includes expert handling of the material. At Timberville the Nordic pine wood is first pre-dried in a rooted open-air store. Following this the wood is brought to the optimum level of moisture for wood-working in drying chambers. This careful drying method ensures that changes to shape through swelling and shrinking are kept to a minimum.
